A Foursquare Church
Our Leadership Community
The Harvest Community is a growing network of smaller gatherings of Christians, often referred to as "house churches" or "simple churches", which gather weekly in the homes of members and other places. We gather together as an entire community once each month to celebrate our life together in Jesus Christ.
Our Lead Pastors
Tom & Cathy Johnston are Lead Pastors of the Harvest Community and serve in providing leadership and direction to the community as a whole, as well as the pastoral care, training and mentoring of the pastoral leaders.
In addition to serving the Harvest Community, Tom is the Executive Director of the Praxis Center for Church Development, an author of several books and the Superintendent of the Evergreen Division of Foursquare Churches. Cathy, in addition to serving Harvest, is a Registered Nurse (BSN) and has her Masters Degree in Management, and works as a nurse manager in Manchester. HCN is the fourth church Tom & Cathy have started together, with several more coming out of their ministry.
Our Pastoral Leaders
Each of the members of our pastoral team have the responsibility for a house church within the larger framework of HCN. They give leadership and direction to the life and ministry of their church as well providing the teaching, pastoral care and discipleship for those involved in their house church.
