Know God?

The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Each and everyone of us was born into this thing called sin. God’s plan was for us to be in fellowship with Him, but sin came into the picture and sin is the very thing that separates us from God.

Right now you might be saying to yourself, “Oh no, here we go again with the sin thing.”

It is with love that we bring to the forefront this life depleting problem called sin. See, just like the above verse in Romans, we all have it and none of us are perfect. We are flawed from birth with this rampant disease of sin! God is a holy and just God and He can not be where sin resides.

However, God through His amazing love and mercy came up with an antidote to cure this thing called sin and also through this antidote conquered the power of death that was brought forth through sin.We are told this about God found in the gospel of John chapter 3, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” God’s son Jesus Christ was the ultimate payment for Sin. Through the death of Jesus on the cross and through His raising from the dead we now can have our sins forgiven and the hope of eternal life.

“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:23

“For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
2Corinthians 5:21

“because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.”
Romans 10:9-10

“For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Romans 10:13
